Object of research -high-frequency electric welding of tissues (HFEWT) in the program of complex treatment patients with breast cancer. A research objective: to improve a surgical method of treatment of a breast cancer by application of HFEWT. Research methods - clinical, instrumental, laboratory, cytologic, histological, statistical processing of results. Novelty: for the first time as a result of HFEWT in the course of performance radical mastectomy possibility to reduce occurrence number of seroma of the postoperative wound is proved, to avoid occurrence regional necrosis skin rags, to reduce duration of operative intervention and loss of blood in during operation. The given occurrence of recurrent tumor and the remote metastasises in group of patients by which during operative intervention it was used HFEWT and data of a five years' survival of patients are obtained. Results: application HFEWT has allowed to reduce duration of operation with 72,1±2,2 to 30,6±0,5 min. (p <0,001), to reduce intraoperative loss of blood 323,3±7,2 to 143,5±3,1 ml (p <0,001), to reduce duration lymphorrhea 12,9±0,5 to 9,8±0,3 days (p <0,001), to lower (p=0,003) quantity of postoperative complications from 14,3 % (95 % of CI of 7,8 %-22,3 %) to 2,1 % (95 % of CI of 0,7 %-6,1 %). It is introduced in practice of the Donetsk regional antitumoral centre; City oncological clinic of Mariupol, the City oncological clinic of of Gorlovka. Results of work are used in educational process of Donetsk national medical university named after M.Gorky. A field of application: medicine (oncology).
