The dissertation is devoted to working out of the theoretical positions concerning the legal regulation of the labor relations of the customs officials. It has been stated that officers of the custom service of Ukraine are customs and organizations officials who the special ranks have been assigned to and on whom the state functions realization in customs practice by the laws of Ukraine has been assigned and who in connection with this the power authorities has been granted to and bear the increased responsibility for failure or inadequate performance of their official duties.
