Essay

The thesis is devoted to improvement of technique of designing of bearing structure of track machines bodies. The review and analysis of state-of-the-art of the optimal design is done. The numerical optimization procedure for bearing structures of track machines bodies is proposed. Proposed optimization procedure is founded on joint use of the finite element method and the Gradient Projection Method. The approbation of the proposed procedure is taken on the row of problems of structure optimization. The structures are similar to the widespread versions of track machines. The row of the mathematical aspects of implementation of the proposed procedure are investigated, particularly the algorithm convergence. The deflected mode of the bearing structures of bodies of the ballast leveling machine SPZ-5/UA the rail-welding track machine KRS-1 is investigated analytically and experimentally. The necessity of implementation of optimization of bearing structure of body of planer and optimal improvement of bearing structure of body of machine KRS-1 are substantiated. The rational designs of bearing structures of track machines SPZ-5/UA and KRS-1 are obtained with the numerical optimization procedure proposed in the work. The mass of the main side-member of body of the machine SPZ-5/UA is decreased on 73% consequently.
