Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the development of methods of synthesis of novel surface active monomers utilizing the derivatives of hydroxy and amino carboxylic acids as precursors. The interaction of lactones C6-C8 with hydroperoxides led to formation of corresponding peroxyesters of hydroxy carboxylic acids. Functional monomers have been obtained due to reaction of mentioned peroxyesters with maleic anhydride or methacryloyl chloride. Obtained surface active monomers have been shown to be capable of copolymerization with various commercial monomers with formation of reactive surface active copolymers.
