Essay

This thesis is devoted to the synthesis and targeted functionalization of organic and polymer-mineral pigment nanoparticles in the presence of surface-active oligoperoxides as templates and surface modifiers. Formation of grafted to the surface functional polymeric shell provides controlled hydrophilic-lipophilic properties of the surface and aggregative and sedimentation stability of the suspension in the media of various polarity. Application of functionalized organic and polymer-mineral nanoparticles as luminescent labels of cancer cells was studied.
