The dissertation is dedicated to researching the theoretical and practical aspects of the investment planning process in the confectionery businesses in modern conditions. Theoretical and methodological fundamentals of investment planning have been improved, its role and importance on the market have been found out. Confectionery business de-velopment in the context of the investment process realization has been researched and the state of investment planning in the enterprises under consideration has been evaluated. A structural-logical model of the investment planning system based on forming and realizing the corresponding mechanism of its creation has been developed. Organizational and economic ways of improving investment planning have been substantiated. A model of optimizing the investment plan-ning strategy in terms of improving scientific approaches to investment resource provisioning has been built.
