Essay

The object of research is the processes of the forestry development state support. The purpose of research is further development of theoretical and methodical positions and development of practical recommendations on forecasting and state support for the forestry development in Ukraine. The methods of research are abstract and logical analysis, synthesis and comparative analysis; institutional, cluster and discriminate analysis; analysis and synthesis; economic and mathematical modeling, forecasting, scenario modeling. Theoretical and practical results. of the Scenario approach to forecasting and planning of the forestry state support bye evaluation of alternative development; assessment of the status of forestry development in Ukraine carried out with the help of a portfolio approach (case-study) and Q-methodology; methodical approach to definition of forestry development prospects that based on the practical implementation of the optimization model; model of calculation of the economic effect from the use of forest resources that takes into account the maximum permissible volumes of it use are got further development. Information system to ensure state support for the forestry development that based on the results of ongoing analysis for the market of consumers, suppliers and competitors are improved. Research results are used in the activities of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Department of Forestry and Hunting (certificate No 2-4/313 of 16.09.2011), Ternopil Regional Department of Forestry (certificate No 01-1/909 of 31.10.2011) and at the educational process of the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University (certificate No 01-08/03/1306 from 22.09.2011).
