The dissertation is devoted to the solution of a scientific and practical task of improvement of the complex statistical analysis of financial reliability of the companies of life insurance in modern conditions. The study is to improve the theoretical and methodological approaches and to develop practical recommendations for a comprehensive statistical analysis of the financial reliability of life insurance companies. The object of the study were life insurance companies as subjects of insurance market in Ukraine. The first time the conceptual approach of complex statistical analysis of financial reliability of life insurance companies. The system of indicators of financial reliability is generalized and improved. It is proved a new form of the state supervision over activity of the companies of life insurance. Have further development theoretical and organizational bases of monitoring of financial reliability of the companies of life insurance. Carried out statistical evaluation of the financial reliability of life insurance companies of Ukraine in 2008-2010. The problems of their operations and directions of increasing financial stability.
