Essay

The work was based on the analysis of the development of the hip joints in normal state and in disorders of development in children of the first year of life with symptoms of connective tissue dysplasia. 812 infants and 1539 children of the first year of life and their mothers have been complexly examined. It has been revealed that the frequency of disorders of the development of the hip joints in newborns is - 30.28 %. Among them: a delay of maturation - 25.63 %, dysplasia of the hip joints - 2.52 %, partial dislocation of hip - 1.68 %, dislocation of hip - 0.42 %. Ratio of disorders of the development of the hip joints in girls (38.4 %) and boys (23.0 %) is 1.7: 1. Symptoms of dysplasia of connective tissue have been found in 27 % of newborns (25 % in boys, 28 % in girls) and in 20 % in of their mothers. These data indicate degradation of connective tissue in infants, in relation to their mothers by 7 %. The expediency of the general screening of hip joints in children of the first year of life has been proven, given by 12 % (every 8th child) missed pathology of hip joints, while using the system of selective screening of risk groups. It has been proven that the state of connective tissue is fairly significant in predicting disorders of the hip joint's development. A significant non-linear correlative dependence (? = 0,96, p <0,05) has been found between the alpha angle, which characterizes the degree of development of acetabular dysplasia, and the degree of dysplasia of the connective tissue. The designed algorithm of diagnostic and monitoring of the hip joint's development is based on an early general ultrasonographic screening, considering the state of connective tissue, risk factors, and clinical signs of disorders of the hip joint's development. Defining symptoms of dysplasia of connective tissue increases the sensitivity of clinical diagnosis of the disorders of the hip joint's development by 14 %. The designed algorithm of treatment of the disorders of development of the hip joint and an improved method of massage and medical gymnastics significantly accelerates the pace of normalization of relations in the hip joint (p <0,05).
