The isothermal section of {Y, Nd, Dy}-Pd-In phase diagrams were constructed based on X-ray phase, particularly EDX-analysis over the whole concentration range at 870 K. The existence of 62 ternary compounds was observed in these and related systems, from which 47 compounds for the first time. The crystal structures of 36 compounds were determined. Indides Nd11Pd4In9 and Y3Pd8In2 crystallize with the new structure types. The substitution of Y or Dy atoms for In atoms was observed for RxPdIn1-x phases. Basic magnetic properties and of the R2PdIn8 (R = Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm) compounds were measured. It was determined that Ce2PdIn8 compound is Curie-Weiss paramagnetic in temperature range 10-450 K and characterized by Condo-interaction. The magnetic susceptibility of Pr2PdIn8, Nd2PdIn8 and Sm2PdIn8 compounds obeys a modified Curie-Weiss law in the whole studied temperature range. It was determined that these compounds characterize by antiferromagnetic order under the temperature TN<6 К. The relationship between Nd11Pd4In9 and Lu5Ni2In4 structures was determined. These structures together with Mo2FeB2, Mn2AlB2 (R2Ni2In), Cr3AlB4 and o-La2Ni2In structures form homological series based on binary types CsCl and AlB2. The general formula of this homological series is Rm+nM2nXm, (R - rare earth, M - transition metal, X - p-metal, and m - quantity of CsCl fragment, n - quantity of AlB2 fragment).
