Subject of study - process of dynamic change of technological tension when long-length product interacts with winding machine elements. Study goal: development of experiment-calculated methods for dynamic analysis and higher consistency of operation of winding machine. Study methods: analytical methods of engineering mechanics and applied theory of vibrations. Theoretical and practical results: method for computer dynamic analysis of a winding process has been implemented. Scientific novelty: advanced dynamic model of a winding process has been developed taking into account energy dissipation. Adoption degree: results have been adopted at Kharcizsk steel rope plant "SILUR". Application sphere: winding machine design.
