Object – the process of financial and economic regulation of the banking system of Ukraine; goal – the development and study of theoretical and methodological principles and practical recommendations to improve institutional support for sustainable development through financial and economic regulation; methods – synthesis, analysis, induction, deduction, economic and statistical , comparative and graphical, economic and mathematical modeling novelty – reasonably determine the institutional and methodological basis for sustainable economic development through financial and economic regulation of the banking system at all levels of government; results – approaches to the role of the banking system in financial and economic regulation in the sustainable development of the national economy, which is to perform the functions of financial intermediation at all stages of social production, put into economic practice.
