Kononova I. Construction companies operation sustainability management

The thesis explores theoretical and practical problems of construction companies' operation sustainability. The content of enterprises functioning sustainability and its components are discovered, the factors which determine the stability of the enterprises are identified, as well as studies on management improvement and control system operation stability of construction enterprises are provided. The determination of external and internal environment of business operation factors according to their impact on the sustainability components is suggested. In order to implement the functions of management and determine stability components and their measurement the suggested system of indicators that reflect the peculiarities of each sustainability component of the enterprise enables to quantify the sustainability and comprehensively describe the operation of the business process. The comprehensive assessment implementation of the enterprises functioning sustainability on the basis of the methods grounded on each functional component estimation of sustainability with the risk of loss taken into consideration is proposed. Under assessment results the business sustainability operation system which allows considering the impact of key environmental factors and balancing the objectives of stakeholders for the main goal achievement is improved. The main research outcomes have been performed in construction companies practice.
