Сhemical properties of 1,1-dihydro-2-oxo-2-polyfluoroalkyl-sulfones, sulfonamides and -phosphonates were investigated and synthetic approaches to their use for the synthesis of novel fluoro-containing compounds were explored. Сonvenient methods for the synthesis of sulphur- and phosphorus-containing polyfluoroalkyl-substituted compounds were elaborated based on the three-component reactions. The first examples of the "retro-Biginelli" reaction were found and hexamethylenetetramine was employed for the first time as a substrate of the Biginelli reaction for the synthesis of unsubstituted tetrahydropyrimidin-2(1Н)-ones.
