The thesis is devoted to the study of social and psychological characteristics of the Ukrainian-Russian bilinguals' ethno-national identity. It was found out that the developed ethnic identity of Bilinguals' promotes conflict-free acceptance of oneself and others, causes the higher level of social and ethnic tolerance. The ethnic identity of Russian bilinguals is characterized by relatively greater consistency of structural components, while the identity of Ukrainian bilinguals is conflict and frustrated, due to the sense of threat to their national identity
