Essay

The thesis is devoted to actual problems of modern neonatology - early postnatal diagnosis and treatment of asphyxia in newborns. The newborns state assessment has been made on the Aphar scale, concrete peculiarities of maladjustment syndromes have been specified, structural and functional disorders of the central nervous system have been assessed according to the scale of neurobehaviour monitoring, neurosonographic examination with doppler. Characteristics of early neonatal adaptations of the infants who were born in the state of asphyxia of varying severity (in terms neurospecific proteins NSE, fluctuations in the level of total nitrite) depending on the course of pregnancy and labours, have been identified. Taking into account results gained, additional diagnostic criteria have been developed to predict the way early neonatal adaptation will take place and to implement differentiated rehabilitation approaches to the infants who were born in the state of asphyxia. We have proved the effectiveness of including into the complex therapy of the newborns, who have suffered asphyxia, a neuroprotective medicine Cerebrocurin® (improving the clinical course of early neonatal adaptation period, accelerating of maladjustment syndromes disappearance, reducing the number of structural changes in the brain, the positive dynamics of neurospecific proteins changes and total nitrite level fluctuations in the treatment process), what has allowed us to recommend it for practical implementation.
