Object of study: newly detected pulmonary tuberculosis, the goal - improvement of efficacy of treatment of patients with newly detected pulmonary tuberculosis by determining the intensity and duration of chemotherapy course, indications for surgical intervention based on the establishment of morphological and microbiological activity of tuberculosis in residual changes in the lung for morphological and microbiological data, and analysis of long-term results treatment of patients who completed the basic course of chemotherapy; methods of investigation: clinical, radiological, pathological (histological), microbiological, statistical; novelty: the first time determined the activity of tuberculosis process for histological and microbiological data in lung resection material depending on the outcome and duration of tuberculosis chemotherapy.
