Essay

The dissertation focuses on the improvement of effectiveness of diagnostics, treatment and rehabilitation of patients with chronic mycotic diseases of nose and paranasal sinuses on the basis of data for functional and endoscopic investigations of architectonics of various paranasal sinuses and intra-nasal structures with the using of minimal-invasive surgical technologies combining with etiopathogenetic therapy. The base of work is the investigation of morphological peculiarities of paranasal sinuses and ostiomeatal complex in patients suffering from chronic inflammatory diseases of paranasal sinuses. The study of morphological changes of mucous membrane of paranasal sinuses in patients with mycotic lesion associated with dysfunction of nasal valves and the investigation of their aerodynamic characteristics have been conducted.
