Kim G. Improvement of orthodontic diagnostics and treatment of malocclusion with Biobloc appliance in children with speech disorders.

In results of carrying out modified complex of observation with by author offered determination technique of logopedic coefficient of orthodontic patients and TRG-determination technique of upper airway conductivity level it was established that logopedic disorders are vital aetiological factor of malocclusion appearing. Retrospective comparative analysis showed that during recent 50 years the number of logopedic disorders in malocclusion patients increased in 3.4. In mixed dentition malocclusions are connected with logopedic pathology in 61% complicated dyslalia occurs 2 times oftener than simple dyslalia. Patient treatment consisted not only in Biobloc therapy with conventional technique, but also in author modifications usage along with logopedic myogymnastics that promoted the quirkier speech recovering in 65% children. Usage of Biobloc appliance of our modification for maxilla and mandible for shot period (4-6 months) results in normalization of biometric parameters of both jaws in transverse, sagittal, vertical plane, increasing meanwhile the dimensions of supporting areas and removing the frontal deficiency. Developed algorithms of Biobloc usage in a different types of malocclusions in children with mixed dentition allow more effective treatment.
