Lunyak I. Statistical analysis of wages in Ukraine

The dissertation is devoted to the further development of theoretical and methodological bases of statistic analysis of wages, the assessment of its level and differentiation in the industry and regional aspects. The sense of the notion "wages" as an object of statistic research was disclosed, its basic functions in the labour market was discusses. The major factors of influence on the level of wages was pointed out and offered their classification, which will contribute to the definition of the main directions of the stabilization of the situation with the remuneration of labour in the country. A conceptual scheme of complex statistic research of wages according to the strategic directions of the development of the country was developed. System of statistical indicators of the analysis of wages was improved, which allowed comprehensively review and assess the situation with wages in the country and its individual regions. The share of labor costs in the cost structure of production, the GDP, the operating expenses were determined. A comparative analysis of the level of wages to the major state social standards and guarantees was performed. Prognostication methods was adapted for determining the level of wages in the regions of the country in the short term.
