Savchenko G. The priority of agricultural development in Ukraine as a principle of Agricultural Law.

The thesis deals with the principle of priority of agricultural development in Ukraine. The system of modern principles of agricultural law is advised. The work distinguishes principle' elements of priority of agricultural development, namely: 1) the specifities and peculiarities of agricultural production (production and economic activity of agricultural producers) and Industrial-agricultural complex as a whole 2) priority of the use of agricultural land as the main means of production in agriculture, 3) priority of the legal status of farmers as a major producer of agricultural products, 4) state support for agricultural producers. Separately were studied and scientifically explained the forms of the considered principle. The particular attention is paid to the regulatory consolidation of the principle of priority of agricultural development. As a result of the study some of proposals to improve existing agricultural legislation of Ukraine were advised.
