In the dissertation it has been researched and analyzed the emergence and development of the fiscal bodies who had collected taxes, detected persons who have shied away from taxes and therefore responded to such violations since the days of Kiev Rus to the present time. The researcher has analyzed activity tax police as a body of inquiry. It has shown its role in detecting crimes and tax revenues of the state budget.
