The theoretic generalization and renovated decision of such important for national science, legal philosophy, tasks that consist in uncovering of essence of the Ukrainian people's mentality and its connection with positive law that functions in the social and cultural midst of the people is presented in the dissertation. The definition of legal mentality of the Ukrainian people is proposed as well as the description of their determinant characteristics. It is determined the interconnection between the Ukrainian people's mentality, their language and law that finds objective expression in this language.
