In the thesis the science-based principles of the protection of medical confidentiality in criminal process of Ukraine are developed. The concept of "medical confidentiality" is determined, the peculiarities of its protection taking into account the Criminal procedure legislation of Ukraine are revealed. The features of the protection of medical confidentiality by international legal acts are developed.
