Essay

The thesis is devoted to the problem of scientific and theoretical studies and model development of information and communication competence of philological specialty teachers in computer-based environment. The essence of the concepts of "information and communication competence of philological specialty teachers", "computer-based environment." The state and problems of information and communication competence of philological specialty teachers, the model of information and communication competence of philological specialty teachers in computer-based environment. The results of pedagogical experiment confirm the presented hypothesis which is on the basis of the conclusion. The author developed a model of information and communication competence of philological specialty teachers in computer-based environment which is an effective and important introduction to the process of philological specialty teachers' training.
