Debretseni O. Primary hypertension in children of school age, risk factors, methods of correction.

Dissertation is devoted to solving the problem of improvement of treatment of primary arterial hypertension in children based on the study of certain parts of homeostasis including biogeochemical features of the region. To address this goal 144 children with previously diagnosed primary arterial hypertension were examined, two groups that differed by their region of residence (mountain and lowland areas) were formed. It was revealed that the difference in clinical status in different biogeochemical regions is presented by more severe clinical manifestations of primary arterial hypertension in children from mountain region in which iodine deficiency state prevails over the data in children from lowland areas. Differences in lipid metabolism, micro- and macroelementary composition of blood and urine, immune and hormonal status between groups were found. For the first time the clinical efficacy of vitamin-mineralcorrection in children with primary arterial hypertension was demonstrated. It was presented that the prescription of vitamin and mineral complex provides a rapid normalization of lipid metabolism, positive dynamics of normalization of metabolic processes, morphofunctional parameters of heart function.
