Mrachkovska N. The formation and use of the production potential of farm enterprises

The thesis highlights the investigation into the theoretical, methodical and practical aspects of forming and using the production potential of farm enterprises on the basis of the systems approach. As a result of studying and generalizing the domestic and foreign experience the essence, importance and peculiarities of the farm enterprise production potential are determined. The present - day level of the formation and efficiency of using the production potential of Zhitomir oblast farm enterprises is analyzed. The problems related to the functioning of farm enterprises are revealed, and their arrangement is made. The author suggests the model of the systems approach to forming and using agrarian enterprise production resources which is based on the addition of values, thus making it possible to investigate the interrelations between basic factors of production. The model also makes it possible to determine what production components yield best results, as well as to direct the development of the enterprise production potential toward those elements which will result in the increase in production volumes and the improvement of the produce quality in future. The author also calculates the reserves of enhancing the efficiency of production potential at the expense of the systems use of labor, land and material resources and determines the strategic directions of enhancing their efficiency.
