The dissertation deals with the comprehensive research of the theoretical and practical issues related to organizational and legal aspects of counteraction to corruption acts in the education sector. The historical development of corruption in the education sector is described and modern approaches to understanding the concept of counteraction to corruption are analyzed, the administrative-legal mechanism characteristic of counteraction to corruption in the education sector is given; the subjects of counteraction to corruption are defined. Types, objective and subjective features of corruption acts in the education sector are revealed; problems related to the determination of the subject of responsibility for corruption acts in the education sector are investigated. The suggestions for changes and additions to the existing normative-legal acts that regulate the relationships in the process of counteraction to corruption are made.
