Essay

Object - multiservice telecommunication systems design process. The purpose - to improve efficiency of optical telecommunication networks structural and parametric synthesis based on using multilayer graphs and utilization of the features of self-similar processes information flows. Methods - probability theory, optimization theory, simulation modelling graphs theory. Results - a method is developed for the synthesis of heterogeneous WDM optical transport telecommunication networks, with a ring topology at a network core level; a method is developed for the synthesis of optical telecommunication network with optical converters using multilayer graph model representing the optical network in the form of a set of graphs; a method is developed to determine information flows transmission routes in IP/MPLS overlay network over WDM optical transport network using self-similar flow models to describe information flows within the network. It is introduced - in academic activity, subject "Telecommunication Systems Design". Sphere of application - telecommunication optical transport networks
