The thesis analyzes the problem of human objecthood in the modern western concepts of mass society. It is made a conclusion in the thesis about the general objective characteristics of a human in the mass society, which include the next: a tendency to program activity, the influence of mass media on the formation of dependence from the environmental factors, the sanctification of the consumer products, the lack of rational comprehension of the social and political processes.
