In work was investigated theoretical substantiation of concept of products competitiveness and was formulated definition of the category from the author's. In work were formed the requirements to the method of estimation of competitiveness of product, were improved methodological approaches to the definition of the level of competitiveness of the products with the help of method of taxonomic analysis. In work was designed the mechanism of a substantiation of effective ways of increase of competitiveness of products.
