Essay

Object is the physical processes caused by diffraction effects that occur at the edges of the constituents of monopol radiators. Goal is the establishment of the laws of formation of single axisymmetric radiators radiation. Research methods are the soft "Impulse", experimental ones. The dependence of the resonant frequency and the angle of maximum radiation on the screen size is defined. Two types of oscillations with a different distribution of the electromagnetic field in the near field are found. The correlation between the efficiency of cylindrical monopole radiator and the central hole in a metal screen is shown. Usage area is radiophysics, communications.
