Stepanov Y. Legal securing of the state's ecological function realization by the internal affairs bodies of Ukraine

The dissertation contains a complex research of the matter of the ecological function realization by the state of Ukraine, the system of notions and specifics of legal regulation of relations emerging in the sphere. As a result of the research, a substantial scientific and legal analysis of the realization of ecological function through the activities of the state authority bodies in Ukraine is performed; the position and role or internal affairs bodies in this process is established. Comparative analysis is undertaken of the respective Ukrainian legislation with the legislation of some other countries; the paper offers the definitions of such legal notions as "the ecological function of the state", "organizational and legal mechanism of the state's ecological function realization", "ecology units of internal affairs bodies". Concrete amendments and additions to the effective Ukrainian legislation are suggested that will provide for the improvement of efficiency of the state's ecological function realization in Ukraine.
