Chayka T. Development of organic production in the agrarian sector of economy

Object of research: system of organic production in the agricultural sector. Purpose of research: theoretical and practical substantiation of scientific measures; working out of the practical recommendations as for development of organic production in agrarian sector of economy as a precondition for reproduction of natural resources, socio-economic growth of the agricultural sector, improving agricultural and environmental image of Ukraine. Methods of research: abstract and logical, bibliographic, systemic synthesis, analysis and synthesis, sociological, grouping, modeling, method of comparison and prediction. Theoretic results and bottom lines: the concept of organic production in the agricultural sector developing has been worked out. The concept takes into account environmental, social, economic, energy and technological components of a single production process and is aimed at providing institutional, legal, financial, economic, socio-psychological and climatic requirements. In practical part - a system of domestic consumers' survey is developed and applied to determine their attitude towards organic agricultural products. The novelty: The system of indicators to measure the effectiveness of organic production in the agricultural sector and the methodology for assessing its effectiveness id developed. Degree of implementation: the results are accepted for use by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, the Organic Federation of Ukraine.
