The dissertation is devoted to studying of 1-[2-(bromomethyl)phenyl]methanone derivatives interaction with various nitrogen-containing mono-and binucleophiles, detection of regularities of their passing, development of new preparative methods of annelated isoquinoline and isoindole derivatives synthesis. A new convenient method for the synthesis of 1-aryl-2-R-isoindoles and isoindolo[2,1-a]quinoxalines based on the reaction of 1-[2-(bromomethyl)phenyl]methanones with primary amines was worked out. A new procedure based on 1-[2-(aminomethyl)phenyl]methanones quaternization was proposed to obtain 4-hydroxy-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinolinium derivatives. A new approach for the synthesis of imidazo[1,2-b]isoquinolinium, benzimidazo[1,2-b]isoquinolinium, [1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-b]isoquinolinium, thiazolo[3,2-b]isoquinolinium bromides was developed. A novel method of annelation isoquinoline fragment to pyridine based on cyclization of quaternized with 1-[2-(bromomethyl)phenyl]methanone 3-amino and 3-hydroxypyridinium salts was found. A new procedure for pyrido[1,2-b][2,4]benzodiazepines and pyrido[1,2-b][2]benzazepines obtaining from initial 2-amino and 2-methyl substituted pyridines was proposed.
