The object -the compressed steel planar elements of composite steel and concrete structures; the goal - to develop a method of calculating the local stability of steel elements of composite steel and concrete structures; methods - experimental methods of local stability and the stress-strain state of mild steel and composite steel and concrete structures, methods of structural mechanics and elasticity theory, methods of mathematical statistics, imitation modeling, finite element method; novelty - the methodology for calculating the local stability of steel elements of composite steel and concrete structures taking into account the effects of concrete and various fixing steel elements boundary conditions have been improved and this allowed us obtained new lightweight composite structures; the results - the method of calculating the local stability of steel elements of composite steel and concrete structures considering different classes of concrete and various boundary fixing conditions have been obtained, the new lightweight composite structures have been developed, obtained results was being obtained in experiment have been in development of building code sand construction projects; the branch - constructing.
