Essay

TThe object of the research: the macroeconomic processes regulated by the state in the energy sector, which form the energy security of Ukraine in the context of the global economic crisis and strengthening the role of the global energy market. The research objective: to develop scientific and economic justification for the proposed conceptual to improve state regulation of the energy sector of the national economy of Ukraine under the growing influence of the global energy market. Methods of research: theoretical generalizations and comparisons, benchmarking, system approach, method of logical modeling and design, analysis, and synthesis, dialectical, statistical. The practical significance of the work lies in the fact that the author's conclusions and recommendations based on the analysis of the dynamics of world oil prices and the cyclical development of the world economy with a specific comparison of the energy sector of Ukraine and Iraq, could be used in the course "Strategic Management", "Innovation Management ". Scientific novelty of the study: the first time the comparative analysis of the energy sector of Ukraine and Iraq on the degree of government influence on the increase in the production of primary energy, the presence of hydro-and nuclear power plants and the level of development of renewable energy sources, which cause the differential selection of methods and mechanisms of state regulation, which may be useful in the study of structural changes in the sector of Ukraine.
