Object: economic relations appeared in the process of the machine building enterprise foreign economic activities security providing. Aim: to investigate scientific and methodic grounds to evaluate the level of the machine building enterprise foreign economic activities security and the choice of instruments for its providing. Methods and instruments of the research: systematic approach and methods of the logistic generalization; systematic approach and logical analysis; factor analysis; economic and mathematic analysis. Theoretical and practical results: author has investigated and proved the scientific and methodic bases to evaluate the level of the machine building enterprise foreign economic activities security and the choice of instruments for its providing. Newness: the theoretical and methodic approach concerning evaluation of the level of the machine building enterprise foreign economic activities security was firstly discovered and includes the calculation of the ternary factor, that takes into account economic potential level at the enterprise to execute the foreign economic activities, the level of the country risk and the level of the machine building enterprise market possibilities; there was improved organizational and economic mechanism to regulate foreign activities economic security of the machine building enterprise, that unlike present mechanisms is based on the research of foreign activities economic security level of the machine building enterprise while making decisions concerning area of the activity; there was improved theoretic and methodic approach concerning choice of strategies to provide the sufficient level of the foreign activities economic security, that unlike present strategies is based on detection of zones concerning foreign activities economic security level of the machine building enterprise; scientific and methodic bases to choose measures to provide sufficient level of the foreign activities economic security, unlik present ones is held within beforehand chosen strategies to provide foreign activities economic security of the enterprise on the base of single-item analysis of the enterprise potential constituents; further development of the theoretical explanation for "foreign activities economic security of the enterprise"; methodic approach to evaluate the potential of the enterprise to execute foreign activities, that unlike present ones takes into account the influence of foreign activities on the machine building enterprise functioning.
