Essay

The thesis is devoted to optimization of the diagnostics and treatment of patients with NAFLD in combination with diabetes mellitus type 2 by determination of the state of amino acid and bioelement metabolism, liver function and improvement of treatment strategy by development of pathogenetically based therapy. A significant influence of trace elements disbalance (according to the level of magnesium, calcium, potassium, and copper in serum) as well as amino acid metabolism (according to the level of methionine, lysine, valine and leucine) on functional state of liver in patients with NAFLD in combination with diabetes mellitus type 2 was proven. The advantages of implication of preparations, capable to influence metabolism (deproteinizated derivate of calf blood and tiotriazoline) in complex therapy of patients with NAFLD in combination with diabetes mellitus type 2 with normal body weight was proven. The efficasy of hepatoprotectors of herbal origin (anextract of Fumaria officinalis and dry extract of fruits of Silibum marianum) and ?-lipoic acid in patients with NAFLD in combination with diabetes mellitus type 2 and increased body weight was established.
