Bagmet K. Banking and insurance integration in supporting the development of financial sector of economy

Banking and insurance integration prerequisites formed at the macroeconomic and microeconomic levels have been systematized. Theoretical aspects of determin-ing the essence, types and forms of the integration within banks and insurance com-panies have been researched. The comparative analysis of banking and insurance in-tegration in The European, North-American and Asian regions of the world has been made. The scientific and methodological approach to assessing the interdependence between oscillation of the banking and insurance segments in Ukraine, which allowed to determine lag between them, has been improved. Economic and mathematical model of the banking and insurance integration level evaluation in Ukraine has been designed. Problem aspects and practical recommendations for the further develop-ment of the financial conglomerates' supervision and regulation have been examined.
