Essay

The dissertation is devoted to evaluation of morphological and functional characteristics of 50 generations of L929 cells, irradiated at 0-generation by ionizing and low intensive non-ionizing irradiation to detect hidden damages induced by radiation. It is shown that the biological effects in descendant cells in vitro under the influence of ionizing radiation in the dose range 0.1-10.0 Gy were accumulated and realized through many cell generations. It appeared that the impact of low-intensive electromagnetic radiation of millimeter range on irradiated in moderate doses (0.1 and 1.0 Gy) L929 cell line, helped to increase cells viability (survival, proliferation and mitotic activity) for 50 generations. The studies results indicate protective effects of electromagnetic radiation of millimeter range after ionizing radiation. This effect is "fixed" and can be observed in 50 generations of cells after irradiation.
