Essay

The thesis is devoted to the synthesis and study of spectral properties of dyes based on fluorene and its derivatives with electron-withdrawing substituents. The first representatives of anionic polymethine dyes and merocyanine dyes,based on fluorene with substituents of varied electron-withdrawing ability have been synthesized, as well as dianionic squrate and croconate derived from tetranitrofluorene. The quantum-chemical calculations of non-empirical methods were carried out and spectral properties studied for them.
