Essay

The thesis is dedicated to investigation of molecular-biological characteristics of viruses of pear - ASPV, ASGV, ACLSV. As a result of testing of pear samples for viruses by ELISA virus-free clones of pear varieties and rootstocks were selected. It was revealed that the most effective method of RNA extraction from pear samples for virus detection using PCR is the DNA Purification kit, Fermentas, USA. Phylogenetic analysis of Ukrainian isolates with known isolates from GenBank discovered that their identity level was 83-99%. The level of identity between Ukrainian isolates of ASPV and ACLSV is quite low - so we can suggest different ways of its origin.
