The object of researches is Process of forming of wool productivity of sheep Tavria-type fine-wool breed Askania in connection with density of wool cover. The purpose of researches is determination of intercommunication of density of wool cover of sheep of Tavria-type fine-wool breed Askania with basic selection signs. The methods of researches are zootechnic, laboratory, histological, genetic, statistical. Results of researches: 1. For a theory - new data in relation to the level of development of quantitative and high-quality signs of wool productivity of sheep of Tavria-type fine-wool breed Askania with a different density of wool are First got. The histological features of structure of skin and character of distribution of molecular-genetic markers depending on the parameters of density of wool cover are exposed. 2. For practice - Results of the conducted researches can be used in selection-pedigree work with the sheep of Tavria-type fine-wool breed Askania. Information in relation to intercommunication between density of wool with basic selection signs allows to take away the animals of desired fenotip, that is it can serve by a complementary criterion in practical work at estimation and prognostication of wool productivity of sheep. The sphere of the use is the economies on growing of sheep of Ukraine.
