Lepsky V. A differentiated approach to the prosthetic treatment of patients with small defects included dentitions

Epidemiological surveys of young people in Ukraine without a somatic pathology suggest that single defects of dentition require orthopedic treatment not only for aesthetic but also for medical reasons. Developed therapeutic and preventive complex of prosthetic treatment maintenance, which has adaptogenic, antioxidant, osteotropic and anti-inflammatory properties, effectively normalized metabolic processes in the pulp of the teeth, gums and bone tissue of alveolar process, inhibited the carious processes of the experimental animals. Pre-testing and study of allelic variants of functionally important polymorphisms of genes (genes of collagen creating, bone resorption, inflammation) made it possible to clarify the type of prosthesis and the likelihood of complications. In the main groups of patients with prosthetic with use implants and bridges combined therapy allowed to normalize periodontal indices and indices of oral hygiene, increase antimicrobial and antioxidant protection, non-specific resistance and reduce inflammation, effectively normalize the range of functional responses that are responsible for homeorhesis and blood stream in the microcapillary bed of gums, and reduce its permeability, accelerate the normalization process of osseointegration.
