In this dissertation on the basis of studying clinical and psychopathological features of patients with schizophrenia on a background of antipsychotic therapy in conditions of modern pathomorphism an actual problem is solved concerning the improvement of diagnostic approaches, prognosis and correction of drug-induced disturbances due to therapy of schizophrenia. On the basis of complex research of clinical and psychopathological features of drug-induced disturbances in patients with schizophrenia at antipsychotic therapy the manifestations of pathomorphism have been confirmed, the correlated connections of psychoneurological disturbances in the course of disease as well as differences in symptomatology by gender factor have been revealed, as a result the approaches to diagnostics and correction of the indicated side-effects have been improved, and accordingly the diagnostic and treatment help to this contingent of patients has also been improved. New principles of assessment and prognosis of psychoneurological disturbances manifested on a background of antipsychotic therapy in patients with schizophrenia have been suggested, a complex method of correction of drug-induced disturbances at antipsychotic therapy has been developed, that allows to decrease the severity of such disturbances due to simultaneous effect on cognitive, emotional and behavioral components of patient, thus allowing to use the additional factors of therapeutic-correctional effect on maintaining the sufficient level of subjective general state and life quality of this category of patients.
