The theses are dedicated to the solution of the theoretical and methodological aspects and practical foundations of development and achieve the strategic intent of the enterprise for its effective development. The theoretical and methodological foundations of the strategic intentions of the company are profound: the definition of "strategic intent" is improved, the process of forming strategic intent of the entity is to implement the theory of Markov chains and shows the interdependence of the alternatives on each of its stages to achieve the strategic intent, the main specific characteristics and classification features strategic intentions of the company are formalized, the methodical approach to technology of development of the strategic intents of the enterprise through a risk-navigator, that allows you to monitor risks at all stages to achieve the strategic intent, is substantiated, N-rule for the sequence of steps to minimize the identified risks is proposed, risk characteristics of strategic intent based on the identification of sustainable, dynamic, shuttle and migratory risks are determined. Analytical assessment of the current state, the dynamics, problems and perspectives of Kyiv region food enterprises development was prepared. An evaluation of the functioning of food enterprises was held, trends and main directions of their strategic development, alternative general corporate strategies according to their environment and specific internal business processes were identified, strategic intents for the effective development of food industry were substantiated and the mechanism proposed to achieve them.
