The paper summarizes theory and methodology grounds for state financial control bodies performance under Ukrainian economy's further transformation into a market economy management; shows the role and place of state financial control in the system of state finances, reflects the evolution of state financial control, analyzes international practice of arranging for the state financial control system (using EU countries as an example)
