Essay

The dissertation is devoted to study of their usage for synthesis of homo- and heteronuclear supramolecular assemblies. The complex formation of ligands with Cu(II), Ni(II) and Zn(II) has been studied by a variety of spectroscopic methods. 18 polynuclear homo- and heterometallic compounds have been synthesized and characterized. It has been shown that a tetranuclear Cu(II) complex had shown catalytic activity in the oxidation of di-tert-butyl-catechole by a molecular oxygen.
