Object of research - process improvement and implementation of competition policy in the national economy banking sector e. Methods - a systematic approach, correlation and regression analysis, series of distribution, ratio analysis, standard method; ball method to assess the quality of banking services, credit assessment. Practical implications of the findings is that the theoretical propositions of the thesis brought to the level of specific techniques and recommendations for national economy competition policy in the banking sector improvement. Scientific novelty of the results is to develop the theoretical foundations and methodological principles of formation and implementation of national economy competition policy in the banking sector. Classification of banking competition types and forms, categorial-conceptual apparatus banking by clarifying definitions of regional banking competition, methodical approach to the assessment of group and intergroup banking competition on the Herfindahl-Hirschman index basis. It only took the further methodological provisions development for determining the balance degree in the banking sector, methodical approach to describe the banks concentration in the market based on the Lorenz curve, guidelines for non-price competition, banking evaluation of methodical approach to improving competition policy of the NBU.
